My mediums are colored pencil, gel pen, and embroidery thread. I began with the patches on the girl, then the hair, and then the background. After this was completed, I used foam pot dots to adhere the red heart and then used embroidery thread to sew it to the piece. My inspiration was fabric that I had that I feel represents different aspects of what makes me unique. This piece combines my love of art and sewing.
