Monarch Butterflies are very beautiful to see in the backyard. Due to habitat loss and deforestation their numbers are declining a lot. It solely depends on the milkweed plant. In order to protect the butterflies, we made a decision to plant milkweed on our backyard. If more people plant milkweed on their backyard, we can together save Monarch butterflies and see the bright orange and black colored butterflies flying around our neighborhoods.
